The Nike Air Max 1 Urawa (2023) is an updated version of the original Nike Air Max 1 Urawa. The OG model was launched in 2004 as part of a collaboration between Nike and one of the biggest football clubs in Japan, the Urawa Dragons.
While the original Urawa only retailed in Japan, the 2023 version was sold in the US. The 2023 Air Max Urawa variation features a mostly white colorway of Pure Platinum, White, Black, Sport Red, and Summit White, unlike its predecessor which came in a bright Jersey Red, White, Silver, and Deep Red. Other elements mirror the 2004 Urawa, including the placement of the overlays, the use of mesh in the upper, and the visible Air Sole unit in the midsole.
