The Nike Air Max 97 Pink Foam is a low-top sneaker featuring a triple linear aesthetic that outlines the upper in shiny Pink Foam synthetic leather and mesh fabric.
American footwear brand Nike debuted the Air Max 97 in 1997, creating its curved ripple aesthetic after taking inspiration from how impact registers upon still water. As the first shoe to display a full-length Air unit in the sole, it was a technological bellwether at the time of release. At the Pink Foam Nike Air Max 97, Playful Pink overlays at the footbed display mesh quarter inserts, accented by the Nike Swoosh in Pink Foam. Air Max branding appears on the heel and tongue tabs. The midsole is defined by its full length visible Air unit above an alternating Pink Foam and Playful Pink outsole.
