The Nike Air Max Penny 1 Black Faded Spruce Anthracite Dark Pony is part of a collaboration between Nike and Anfernee Deon "Penny" Hardaway, a college basketball coach and former player. It is also the first signature sneaker released by Penny Hardaway with Nike.
This shoe features a dark colorway of Black, Anthracite, Faded Spruce, and Dark Pony, which presents as black with burgundy details. The upper is made of durable mesh, leather, and suede detailing. The lateral side of the shoe boasts a jewel Swoosh in a transparent, blue tone. Black midsoles dominate the bottom of the shoe and contribute to its stealthy, sleek appearance. The sneaker also houses a semi-visible Air Max unit in the heel.
