The sneaker boasts several design elements inspired by the original sneaker, including wavy line overlays in leather, plastic detailing, and a base crafted from breathable mesh. The mudguard is also made from mesh, while the toe cap is crafted from a shiny plastic material. Contemporary upgrades include the hiking-inspired lace closure system, which features thin laces and an adjustable toggle. Finally, the inclusion of visible Nike Air units underfoot hearkens back to the sneaker’s performance-running roots and provides responsive cushioning.
