Nike has routinely added very bright, bold colors to LeBron James' signature sneakers to make them stand out. The brand didn't do that with the Nike LeBron 19 Low Black White University Red, but it still managed to create a LeBron sneaker that stood out both on and off the basketball court.
The upper on this LeBron 19 was constructed out of a translucent woven material that made it both lightweight and durable at the same time. It was mostly white and black, but it also included pops of red on the tongue, heel, and outsole that made it a sneaker that was impossible to miss. Even the visible Max Air unit that spanned the length of the bottom of the shoe took on a red tint.
This LeBron 19 wasn't necessarily the most spectacular LeBron 19 that was introduced in 2022, but our experts liked how the white, black, and red all worked together to highlight some of the best aspects of the shoe.
